By using a canopy system it is possible to build aesthetic and long-lasting glass canopies the lifetime of which is equivalent to that of the building. The glass canopy system is designed primarily for the Nordic climate, with possible snow loads of up to 4 kN/m2. The system is certified and can be provided with DoP declarations and CE marking.

To produce glass canopy brackets, we use 1.4401 (AISI316) stainless steel, which is suitable for use in any external environment. Thermally reinforced – laminated 8+8 mm or 10+10 mm glass with 4 films (88.4 or 1010.4), depending on the size of the roof are suitable to be used as canopy glass. The system is adaptable to different sizes of glass panes and provides flexibility for designing your own canopy. The standard glass depth from the wall is between 800 mm and 2000 mm, but for custom solutions other measures may be used. There are no limitations on the length of the canopy, but it must be taken into account that the spacing of the brackets must not exceed 1,300 mm. The maximum size of the glass pane of a canopy, which can be mounted with 2 sets of brackets, is 2,000 x 2,000 mm.

Brackets of canopies with tensioning rods are designed to be attached to either a conventional wall (RC1) or aluminium-glass facade by means of a 10 mm thick joint reinforcement (RC2). It is also possible to use a system without tension rod bars (RC3), but in this case the maximum size of the glass is 900 x 1500 mm.

In order to ensure the bright appearance and corrosion resistance of canopy brackets, it is extremely important to clean them with special cleaning foam for stainless steel after installation. When cleaning the glass canopies, highly acidic or basic cleaners may be used, which may damage the surface of stainless steel and cause corrosion.

The delivery time of canopy brackets with standard length tension rods is generally 2-3 days, with custom-length tension rods up to 2 weeks. The R-FIX warehouse is located a 15-minute drive from Tallinn in Kiili, 14 Kurna Street.
