It is very easy to damage the surface of stainless steel in the event of incorrect installation or maintenance, resulting in the formation of rust spots or corrosion on the surface. Later, it is very difficult to remove the corrosion, so it is much easier and cheaper to pay attention to proper installation and later maintenance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Stainless steel glass fixings can be ordered in 3 different materials:  <ul><li>AISI304 or EN1.4301 \u2014 medium corrosion resistance suitable for indoor use<\/li><li>AISI316 or EN1.4401 \u2014 strong corrosion resistance, suitable for outdoor use<\/li><li>Duplex or 1.2205 \u2013 very strong corrosion resistance, suitable for use in particularly difficult conditions (e.g. chlorine-water swimming pools). Available as a custom order.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Clean work gloves must be used for installation, and they must not contain dust from carbon steel (ordinary black steel). Tools must also be clean and must not be contaminated with carbon steel particles. When the stainless surface is rubbed with carbon steel particles, it creates corrosion.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>No welding or cutting operations must be carried out in the immediate vicinity of stainless steel fastening fittings, as the contamination of the stainless surface with chips, splashes or dust of carbon steel causes corrosion.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Stainless steel fastening fittings should not be placed in direct contact with hot-dip galvanised surfaces as this causes chemical corrosion. If the hot-dip galvanised surface is powder coated, there is no problem. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>After installation, it is recommended to clean the stainless steel fastening fittings with a special stainless steel cleaning product such as 3M Stainless Steel Cleaner and Polish or W\u00fcrth Stainless Steel Care Spray. Cleaning ensures that any contamination of the surface during the installation can be removed.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Neutral cleaning agents should be used when cleaning glass and stainless steel glass fixings. When abrasive or highly acidic\/alkaline cleaning agents are used, it damages the protective oxide layer of the metal and may cause corrosion.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Stainless steel glass fixings and tension rods should be cleaned regularly with neutral and non-abrasive agents as necessary.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>By following the above recommendations, it can be assured that stainless steel will remain aesthetic for a long time and there will be no problems with corrosion!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Stainless steel glass fixings and tension rods retain their bright appearance only when handled correctly.
