Glass walls with glass fins for Matinkylä swimming pool

The architect has designed three glass walls with glass fins for the Matinkylä swimming pool building, two of which are external walls and one partition separating the café from the pool.

The exterior walls are made of triple glazed units and the partition is made of double glazed units. All glazed units hang on the load-bearing glass fins by means of point fixings and spider fixings.

Our tasks in this project:

• Technical consultation of the customer throughout the project
• Matching the façade and glass fins with other structures
• Strength calculations for the glass fins, designing the latter and preparing production drawings
• Preparing the division of the glazed units and production drawings
• Selection of glass fastenings according to project requirements
• Production of fastening accessories
