Glass railings and viewing platform of Sky Office

Our client needed technical solution for glass viewing platform that is protruding from facade. While the project gave glass floor thickness, we had to design whole glass structure and choose right fixings. Along that we made FEM strength analysis to be sure of maximum safety.

For fixings we chose:

• Countersunk point fixings KP.STR33 for glass floor
• GPR3 side-fixed aluminium railing profile for glass walls
• Custom thickness KP90.22 connectors to ensure structural integrity of glass walls
• HRU aluminium profile for protecting laminated glasses from water precipitation

The rest of terrace glass railings are made with our GPR1 railing aluminium profile.
