Baluster posts

Stainless steel baluster posts provide the possibility of creating secure balcony railings, stairway railings and other glass railings without the need for welding and grinding on the site. We produce baluster posts from Ø42. 4 x 2 mm round pipes and 40 x 40 x 2 mm square pipes with brushed finishing and with the length and configuration you need.

Depending on the environment in which the posts are to be installed, we offer two types of stainless steel: 1.4301 (AISI304) and 1.4401 (AISI316). They are identical in appearance, but as the corrosion resistance of 1.4401 (AISI316) is better, it is appropriate for an outdoor environment. Posts made of 1.4301 (AISI304) are recommended for indoor use.
We produce posts with bottom fix and side fix. Bottom fix baluster posts have a fastening plate welded in the bottom, which makes it possible to fix the post securely to the floor or step. To cover the welded fastening plates and bolt heads, the set includes a brushed cover steel sheet that finishes the plate of the post. Side fix posts are fixed to the edge of the balcony panel or staircase side with special clamps enabling the height of the post to be adjusted. The lower end of the side fix post is finished with an end cap included in the set.
We supply posts packed together with handrail brackets to be installed at the end of the post, glass clamps and other necessary accessories. On site you only have to assemble the elements contained in the package and fix posts to the substructure. We offer a special steel adhesive to fix handrail fittings to the end of the post. The posts have been tested and are suitable for railings with an operating load of not over 1 kN/m.
Various glass clamps suitable for glasses with a thickness of 6 to 12.76 mm can be used to fix the glass railings to the posts. The glass clamps are fixed to the post with the provided M8 bolts, which are turned into the threaded holes of the post. By using different types of clamps it is possible to fix the glass between the posts or in front of the posts.
In order to ensure the bright appearance and corrosion resistance of the baluster posts it is extremely important to clean them with special cleaning foam for stainless steel after installation. When cleaning the glass railings, do not use highly acidic or alkaline cleaners, as they may damage the surface of stainless steel and cause corrosion.
The delivery time of the posts is up to 2 weeks from the order, and in special cases it is possible to produce them quicker. The R-FIX warehouse is located a 15-minute drive from Tallinn in Kiili, 14 Kurna Street.
